Plot

Dominic Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio), along with point man Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), is on an extraction mission within the mind of a powerful Japanese businessman Saito (Ken Watanabe); a form of corporate espionage through dreams. Pain is felt in dreams, but death results in awakening. Cobb carries a totem in the form of a spinning top which originally belonged to his deceased wife Mal (Marion Cotillard), to determine whether he is dreaming or awake, which spins increasingly fast or topples, respectively. The extraction fails due to the intervention of Mal, whose memory haunts Cobb's mind and sabotages his missions. Saito reveals that he is in fact auditioning the team to perform the act of inception: using dreams to implant an idea. He promises to have murder charges against Cobb cleared so that he can return to the U.S. and visit his children, in return for the mission's success.

The target is Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy), son of Saito's terminally ill corporate rival, Maurice Fischer (Pete Postlethwaite). The objective is to convince Fischer to break up his father's empire. Cobb recruits Eames (Tom Hardy), a forger who can change appearance inside dreams, Yusuf (Dileep Rao), a sedative chemist, and Ariadne (Ellen Page), a student whom he and Arthur train as an architect to design dream worlds. When the elder Fischer dies in Sydney, Saito and the team share the flight with Robert Fischer back to Los Angeles and drug him. They enter Yusuf's dream, a rainy downtown area, and kidnap Fischer. However, they come under attack by Fischer's trained subconscious projections, and Saito is badly injured. Due to the strength of the sedatives and multiple dream layers, death will result in the person going into limbo, a world of unconstructed dream space, for a seemingly indefinite time. Cobb reveals to Ariadne that he spent years with Mal in limbo, where they shaped their own world and lives. After waking, Mal had remained convinced she was dreaming and committed suicide, persuading Cobb to do so by incriminating him in her death, but he instead fled the U.S. and the murder charges.

Eames changes into Peter Browning (Tom Berenger), Fischer's godfather, to extract information from him. The team then enter a van and are sedated into Arthur's dream, a hotel, where the team convinces Fischer that the kidnapping on the first level was orchestrated by Browning and that he must enter his godfather's mind to determine his motives. They in fact enter into a third level, dreamt by Eames, where Fischer must break into a snowy mountain fortress to reveal the planted idea. To wake and protect the team, the member dreaming each level stays behind at that level, being assigned the triggering of synchronized kicks: Yusuf driving the van off a bridge, Arthur crashing an elevator carrying the sleeping team members (which turns out to happen in a zero gravity sequence), and Eames detonating explosives in the mountain fortress' foundation.

Fischer is killed by Mal and goes into limbo. Ariadne and Cobb follow him down and confront her. There Mal attempts to convince Cobb to stay in limbo by making him question reality, referring to events that occurred while he was awake. Cobb reveals that he had originally planted the idea in Mal's mind to wake, making him indirectly responsible for her suicide. She attacks him, but Ariadne shoots her. Cobb remains in limbo to locate a now dead Saito, while Fischer and Ariadne return to the mountain fortress where he comes to the conclusion that his father wanted him to be his own man. Cobb eventually locates an aged Saito and tells him that they need to return to reality. He suddenly wakes on the plane to find everyone up and well. Saito honors their arrangement; Cobb enters the United States and finally returns home to his children. Cobb spins his totem top to test reality, but is distracted by the reunion. The final shot of the movie ends with Cobb's totem wobbling slightly before fading to black, leaving the viewer to decide whether or not he escaped or is trapped in limbo.

Plot
Zhao Zilong begins his military career by enlisting in the warlord Liu Bei's camp. He befriends Luo Ping'an, a fellow soldier from the same hometown as him. Zhao Zilong participates in a battle against Liu Bei's rival Cao Cao, by following Zhuge Liang's orders to launch a sneak attack on Cao's camp, attaining his first victory. As Liu Bei's troops are outnumbered by Cao Cao's forces, Liu is forced to retreat to Phoenix Heights, but is separated from his family during the chaos. Zhao Zilong volunteers to rescue Liu's family, but Liu's sworn brothers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei scoff at him and they engage in a spear fight. Zhao remains undefeated after several rounds of fighting and Liu Bei is impressed by Zhao's skills. Guan and Zhang help to cover Zhao as he breaks into the enemy formation to look for Liu's family.

Zhao Zilong makes his name in that battle by rescuing Liu's infant son A'dou alone and holding off hundreds of Cao Cao's troops, who surround him on all sides. He fights his way out and charges up a cliff on his horse, straight towards Cao. Cao is shocked and loses his personal weapon to Zhao and his life is placed in peril. However, Zhao refrains from killing Cao and leaps to safety onto another cliff. Cao's granddaughter, Cao Ying, witnesses the attack and she swears to kill Zhao Zilong and help her grandfather regain his pride. Meanwhile, Liu Bei promotes Zhao to the rank of a general and bestows him with a "All-Piercing Spear".

Zhao Zilong continues to fight many battles for Liu Bei and had never lost before, earning himself the title of "Undefeated General". After Cao Pi (Cao Cao's son) usurps the state power of the Han Dynasty and proclaims himself emperor of Cao Wei, Liu Bei declares himself emperor of Shu Han to continue the bloodline of Han. Zhao Zilong is named by Liu as one of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu Han, along with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Ma Chao and Huang Zhong. As time passes, Liu Bei dies and Zhuge Liang inherits Liu's legacy, by continuing to lead military campaigns against Cao Wei to restore the Han Dynasty. By then, Zhao Zilong is already 71-years-old and he is the last surviving one of the five generals, and his insistence secures him a role in the upcoming campaign. Zhuge gives Zhao two satchels, instructing him to open them as per situations. The Cao Wei army is led by Cao Ying. Zhao Zilong performs his first feat in the campaign by slaying the four sons of the enemy general Han De. However, he is lured into a trap by Cao Ying and forced to retreat to the Phoenix Heights.

Zhao's army is surrounded at Phoenix Heights by Cao Ying's forces and Zhao learns that it is crucial that he holds the Cao Wei army's attention for some time, because the Shu Han army will use the opportunity to attack while Cao Wei is distracted. Zhao Zilong engages Cao Ying in a one-to-one duel and defeats her but he lets her go. In the subsequent battle, Zhao Zilong's forces launch a fierce assault on Cao Ying's army and are nearly all wiped out when Han De sacrifices himself in using gunpowder in a Kamikaze-style attack. In making his last stand, Zhao Zilong strips off his armour and leads a final charge towards the Cao Wei army.

Detective Dee - DvDrip - 2010

Size: 1.4GB
Directed by Tsui Hark
Produced by Tsui Hark, Nansun Shi, Peggy Lee
Starring: Andy Lau, Carina Lau, Li Bingbing, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Deng Cao
Country: China, Hong Kong
Language     Mandarin

INFORMATION

Synopsis

When the mysterious deaths of a series of loyal subjects threaten to delay the 690 A.D. inauguration of Empress Wu Zetian, she summons the infamous Detective Dee back from an exile into which she cast him eight years earlier.
Production

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phanton Flame is a co-production between Chinese production company Huayi Brothers (also the film's distributor) and production company Film Workshop. The film will be Film Workshop's 50th feature film as a producer. The film was directed by Tsui Hark, who co-produced the film with his wife Nansun Shi. The screenplay was written by Chen Kuofu, the Chinese screenwriter of the 2008 films Forever Enthralled and If You Are the One. Fight choreography and art direction for the film was handled by Sammo Hung.
 Pre-production

Prior to filming Detective Dee, Tsui had spent years doing research on stories concerning Tang Dynasty official Di Renjie. Chen Kuofu first approached Tsui with a screenplay based on the life of Di Renjie.

Tsui first announced production plans in 2008, while promoting his previous film All About Women at the 13th Pusan International Film Festival. At the time, Tsui had pondered on whether to make Detective Dee or remake the 1966 film Dragon Gate Inn.
Casting

For the lead role as Di Renjie, Tsui originally had Tony Leung Ka-fai, along with Tony Leung Chiu-Wai in mind. Tsui commented on choosing an actor to play Di Renjie: "Who said that Di Ren Jie must be plump and old? He could also be very handsome. Wits and looks can balance one another." On 5 January 2009, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Andy Lau would star in the lead role. On 29 April 2009, it was announced that Carina Lau, Li Bingbing, Deng Chao and Tony Leung Ka-Fai would appear in supporting roles.

    * Andy Lau plays Di Renjie, an exiled detective of the Tang Dynasty. Lau felt that the character's psychic abilities was one of his greatest traits: "He is a forensic psychologist who knows what you're thinking, from your eyes, your breathing, the pauses in your speech, he could tell what you're withholding, a melancholic detective." To prepare for his role in the film, Lau studied criminal psychology.

"He was someone very special, one possessing nerdiness, good deportment and great foresight. His mentality and philosophies were very different from Sherlock Holmes or James Bond. He can dwell forever in my heart, so I have a very romantic view on him, and must also be immaculate."
—Director Tsui Hark on portraying Di Renjie.

    * Carina Lau plays Wu Zetian, the Tang Dynasty empress of China. The film marks Lau's first feature film role in four years. On her role in the film, she commented on the strength of the empress: "I feel that Wu Ze Tian is a 'superman', her fate is very tragic, but she would find opportunities to defy her fate, to bring her, step by step, closer to her dreams. She has very strong willpower and is very wise, unlike myself. "Lau had to practice horse riding for the film, accepting help from a professional trainer: "I have always been rather afraid of horseriding, afraid of such a large animal; but now I have overcome the mental obstacle and the lessons have been rather smooth."

    * Li Bingbing plays Shangguan Jing'er, a highly skilled martial artist, who serves as Wu Zetian's maid and right-hand "man". The character is loosely based on Shangguan Wan'er, who was a poet, writer and politician of the Tang Dynasty. Director Tsui Hark decided to change the character, feeling that a more fictitious character would provide more room for creativity: "There're some things that Wan-er couldn't do, like being a top-notch martial arts expert."

 Filming

Principal photography for Detective Dee began in May 2009, with a budget of $13 million; the film was shot in Zhejiang, China at Hengdian World Studios, which is one of the largest film studios in the world. Detective Dee has been described as one of Tsui's most personal films to date. During production, Tsui would reportedly work consistently on the set, barely getting enough sleep.
Action direction

Sammo Hung served as an action director for the film and his stunt team built eight platforms (12 meters tall) in the cave for three days of wire work. The record was over 70 wires for one scene. One of the sculptures was a 80 metre bust of Empress Wu Zetian, a key element of the film that cost $12 million to design and decorate. During production, reporters were invited to enter the bust's interior, which included a 12 meter tall circular platform. Outside of the platform hung red and white drapes that were full of scriptures.
 Fight choreography

Detective Dee's martial arts sequences will be choreographed by Sammo Hung, who worked extensively alongside actors Andy Lau and Li Bingbing. Tsui choose Hung as a choreographer, feeling that his work had shades of Bruce Lee. Of the fight sequences for the film, Tsui commented that they would be similar to that of Ip Man, as they would aim for realism with actual punches and kicks. This would prove difficult for actors who had no martial arts experience. Of the two actors, Li Bingbing had no experience in martial arts, and her role required that she use various weapons in the film such as a whip and a sword.

Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

Size: 700MB
Directed by Brad Peyton
Produced by Polly Cohen, Andrew Lazar, Greg Michael, Brent O'Connor
Starring: Bette Midler, James Marsden, Christina Applegate, Katt Williams, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, Nick Nolte, Wallace Shawn, Joe Pantoliano, Chris O'Donnell, Jack McBrayer, Fred Armisen, Paul Rodriguez
Running time:  85 minutes
Country: United States - Australia
Language     English

Plot

At a base in Northern Germany, a worker delivering secret codes finds a cocker spaniel puppy outside his office. He brings the puppy inside, showing her to his bloodhound, Rex. Rex senses something is wrong with the puppy and starts to bark at her, making the worker take him outside. Both are locked out of the office. Rex looks in the window seeing the puppy taking pictures of the top secret documents and later revealing to be Kitty Galore (voiced by Bette Midler), an evil female hairless cat. Rex turns out to be a dog agent and reports to HQ.

In San Francisco, Diggs (voiced by James Marsden), a German Shepherd police dog and his master, Shane (Chris O'Donnell) are called to a hostage situation. Diggs deliberately ignores Shane's commands. He attacks the suspect, causing him to release a device that Diggs grabs which causes a building to blow up. Butch (voiced by Nick Nolte) and Lou (voiced by Neil Patrick Harris) are watching footage of the incident. Lou, no longer a puppy and now head official of the Dog HQ, wants Diggs to be an agent with Butch as his mentor to help bring down Kitty Galore.

At the police station, Diggs is suspended and sent back into the kennels. Shane wants to adopt Diggs but the police will not allow it. Butch recruits Diggs and takes him to HQ. Lou gives them a mission to track down a pigeon named Shanus (voiced by Katt Williams) who is an informat and apparently works for Kitty Galore.

After tracking down Shanus, Diggs and Butch meet a female Korat cat agent named Catherine (voiced by Christina Applegate) who was also after Shanus. At first it seems as though she was a spy sent by Kitty Galore to assassinate Shanus, she later reveals that she is actually an agent who works for MEOWS (an organization that is planning to actually stop Kitty Galore) who was after Shanus for the same reason the dogs were. She also reveals that Kitty Galore was once an agent who worked for MEOWS until she became rogue after a mission against the dogs during which she was knocked into a vat of hair removal gel causing her to lose all her fur and give her the appearance of a sphynx cat, thus resulting in being ridiculed by her cat comrades and later be kicked out of her human home. Since then, Kitty has been plotting her revenge on not only dogs, but humans as well.

After bringing Catherine to HQ, Lou contacts Tab Lazenby (voiced by Roger Moore) of MEOWS and they form an alliance to take down Kitty Galore. Shanus reveals where a pigeon was going while working for Kitty. At a cat lady's home, they discover the middlecat (who is actually Calico) that has been sending the parts to Kitty using other pigeons that work for her but claims that he doesn't know where she is hiding.

Needing help to find out where Kitty could be hiding, they go see Mr. Tinkles (voiced by Sean Hayes) who is locked up in a hidden prison on Alcatraz Island, bound in a Hannibal-style way (out of insanity; presumably a result of his torturous time with Mr. Mason's maid and her sisters from the end of the original film). Although he refuses to tell them Kitty's exact location, he gives a hint to the group that all secrets are revealed in a cat's eye and that he is planning his escape. Kitty discovers through an informant at the prison that the cats and dogs are working together and sends two Scottish orange tabby cat mercinaries named Angus and Duncan MacDougall (voiced by Michael Beattie and Jeff Bennett) to attack them and capture (and possibly assassinate) Shanus on the boat returning from the prison.

After getting fed up with Diggs not listening to his commands, Butch leaves with Shanus to the pigeon's home to find clues. Catherine takes Diggs to her home. Catherine learns that Diggs has been in and out of kennels his whole life. She takes him to the Cat HQ. Diggs, Catherine and Tabs learn that Kitty is hiding at a fairground with her new master, a magician, from a still picture from her video - by looking in the eyes like Tinkles said.

Not long after arriving at the fairground, Diggs and Catherine are captured by Kitty Galore and Paws (a huge Maine Coon with iron teeth, voiced by Phil LaMarr). Kitty reveals that she plans to send a signal that only dogs can hear through televisions and cellphones to cause them to act hostile towards their humans. After escaping Kitty's death trap, Diggs and Catherine meet up with Butch and Seamus who were alerted by Tab and Lou.

Kitty uses a chair ride as a satellite dish to transmit the signal. Shanus accidentally presses the button to start the program thinking it was the shutdown button. Dogs start becoming hostile in their homes. Kitty orders Paws to attack them and the final battle begins. Paws' fur is ripped off during the fight and he turns out to be a Terminator-style robot. Diggs tricks Paws into biting one of the wires causing the dish and Paws to explode. The humans watching think it is a stunt by the magician. When her beloved pet mouse Scrumptious (voiced by Elizabeth Daily) turns on her, Kitty ends up getting ejected from the satellite, tied up in cotton candy and lands right in the magician's hat.

After the mission, Diggs goes to live with Shane, who has been looking for Diggs since he escaped from the police kennel. Diggs is called to HQ and is shown a live video revealing that Mr. Tinkles has escaped from prison with Calico (voiced by Wallace Shawn). It is shown that Diggs, Butch, Catherine, and Seamus are still working together, hinting at another sequel titled "Cats and Dogs 3".

There is a post-credits scene with Mr. Tinkles and Calico.

Plot

Now seventeen years old, Andy has outgrown his old toys and is preparing to move to college. He decides to take Woody with him and packs the other toys in a garbage bag, intending to store them in the attic, but Andy's mom mistakenly puts the bag on the curb. Believing that Andy no longer wants them, the toys sneak into a box to be donated to Sunnyside Daycare. As the only toy who saw what really happened, Woody tries to clear up the misunderstanding, but they are driven to Sunnyside before he can. The toys receive a warm welcome from the toys at Sunnyside, led by Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear (aka Lotso). Woody tries to convince the others to return to Andy, but they decide they are happier at Sunnyside, so he leaves without them. The others soon discover the children Lotso assigned them with are too young, and they are innocently abused and tortured. Buzz goes to ask Lotso to transfer them to the older children, but is instead caught by the Sunnyside toys. Lotso intervenes, and gladly accepts Buzz alone as a new recruit, but when Buzz politely says he won't leave without the others, Lotso decides to take advantage of his loyal spirit, and has the toys reset Buzz to his original, deluded space ranger self.

As he escapes Sunnyside, Woody is found and taken in by a girl from the daycare named Bonnie. Woody learns from Bonnie's toys that Sunnyside is a toy prison run with an iron fist by Lotso, who became ruthless and unempathic towards kids after his owner lost and replaced him, running away from home and taking over Sunnyside. At the daycare, the others discover that Andy is looking for them when Mrs. Potato Head sees him through her missing eye, which was lost in Andy's room. The toys try to leave but are imprisoned by Lotso and his henchmen, including the reset Buzz. Upon his return to Sunnyside, Woody meets the Chatter Telephone, who informs Woody of the security measures that Lotso has put in place, the key to which is the monkey who has access to all the security cameras. He then reveals that he has not fallen to Lotso because they never 'broke' him.Woody then joins his friends to help them escape. In the process, they accidentally reset Buzz to his Spanish mode during the escape, though he returns to their side. The toys use a garbage chute to reach a bin outside the daycare, but Lotso and his henchmen catch them. Lotso then brings the Chatter Telephone who tells them that they finally 'broke' him. Woody and his friends convince the henchmen and Lotso's right-hand toy Big Baby of Lotso's treachery, so they throw Lotso into the bin. However, Lotso pulls Woody into the bin just before a garbage truck arrives, forcing the others to rescue him, with Buzz returning to normal in the process.

The truck takes the toys to a waste plant where they are forced onto a conveyor belt for disposal. Woody helps Lotso and the others escape a shredder, but Lotso leaves them to slide into an incinerator, and as they approach the flames, the toys silently accept their impending end as a family. But before the incinerator can burn them alive, the toys are rescued by a giant claw crane operated by the squeeze toy aliens, while Lotso is found by a garbage man and tied to the front of a truck, to his dismay. The toys return to Andy's house and prepare to be stored in the attic, but Woody realizes that the time has come for them to embrace a new destiny, so he leaves a note to Andy suggesting he donate his toys to Bonnie. Together with Bonnie, Andy plays with his toys one more time before he leaves for college. Woody sadly says goodbye, and he and his friends start building friendships with their new fellow toys.

In the credits, conditions for Sunnyside toys have vastly improved: under Ken and Barbie's leadership, the toys now take turns sharing the abuse by the Caterpillar children. The toys at Bonnie's keep in touch with Sunnyside by slipping letters through Bonnie's backpack.

Splice - 2010 - BDRip

Size: 700MB
Directed by Vincenzo Natali
Starring:  Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley, Delphine ChanĂ©ac
Running time:  104 minutes
Country: Canada - France
Language: English

Plot

Famous genetic engineers Clive Nicoli (Adrien Brody) and Elsa Kast (Sarah Polley) achieve fame by successfully splicing together the DNA of different animals to create incredible new hybrid animals. Now they want to use human DNA in a hybrid that could revolutionize science and medicine. But the pharmaceutical company that funds their research, N.E.R.D. (Nucleic Exchange Research & Development), forbids it, instead mandating that their department be reorganized to focus on finding & extracting certain proteins from the creatures they have already created. Not wishing to spend all their time engaged in what they consider mundane research for the next 5-10 years, Clive and Elsa secretly conduct their own experiments, blending human DNA with that of other animals.

Though they disagree about actually bringing the hybrid to term, Elsa pushes the issue and she persuades Clive to go along with it, in continued secrecy. They name their creature Dren (nerd backwards), who exceeds their wildest dreams; she begins to grow and learn at an accelerated rate. As their lab becomes exceedingly crowded, and the risk of Dren being discovered increases, they move Dren to Elsa's late mother's farm.

Their work at the company suffers as their attention is focused on Dren. One of the original hybrid animals that they had created, which was originally female, had changed sex unbeknownst to Clive & Elsa since they were distracted. This led to a disastrous presentation during a company shareholders' meeting, when the two original hybrids, previously one male and one female very much in love with each other, became both male, killed each other in front of shareholders and potential investors. Following this meeting, N.E.R.D., found itself in danger of going out of business unless they could find a profitable discovery.

Meanwhile, Dren has become amphibious and omnivorous with a toxic sting and retractable wings coming out of parts of her arm and back. Elsa, who had formed a maternal bond with Dren, changes her mind after Dren shows violent behavior, killing her own pet cat out of spite and assaulting her. She cuts off her stinger and uses organic tissue from it to finally isolate and synthesize a protein they had been searching for.

Soon after, Clive is seduced by Dren and has sex with her, much to Elsa's disgust; during her sexual encounter with Clive, Dren reveals that she had regenerated her stinger. Elsa and Clive have a heated argument about Clive having cheated, when he confronts her, having figured out that she used samples of her own DNA in the creation of Dren. Deciding to deal with Dren, they go back to the farm, only to discover her body in the water tank, apparently dead.

They bury Dren near the farmhouse but before they leave, their boss from pharmaceutical company arrives, having figured out that there was some sort of human hybrid because of the DNA present in the protein they had finally synthesized. Elsa tells her boss she can dig up Dren's body if he really wants to see it. Suddenly, they are attacked by Dren, who was not dead, but apparently in some sort of coma as her body underwent changes that turned her into a male. After killing her boss and Clive's brother, Dren drags Clive into a freezing pond. Elsa pulls him out, but he is unconscious, so Elsa flees. Dren finds her and rapes her. As Dren is raping Elsa, Clive comes to the rescue, impaling Dren with a large sharp branch. Dren kills Clive with a toxic sting, but is dealt a fatal blow by Elsa when she smashes his head with a rock.

Later on, Elsa is seen in the office of the pharmaceutical company's head and is given a mass amount of money in exchange for her silence and taking the experiment to the "next stage". The head of the company then thanks Elsa for the personal risk that she is undergoing. Elsa stands up and is revealed to be pregnant.

Jonah Hex - 2010 - BDRip

Size: 1.4GB
Directed by Jimmy Hayward
Produced by Akiva Goldsman, Andrew Lazar
Starring: Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Michael Fassbender, Will Arnett, Michael Shannon
Running time: 81 minutes
Country: United States
Language: English

Plot

During the American Civil War, Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) fought on the side of the Confederacy until betraying his commanding officer, Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich) to save a hospital and killing Turnbull’s son in the process. A vengeful Turnbull and his right-hand man, Burke (Michael Fassbender), burn down Jonah’s house with his wife Cassie and son Travis still inside and brand his face with a hot iron, leaving the initials QT; which he later removes with a red-hot tomahawk resulting in his disfigured visage. Days later, Native Americans  find Jonah and revive him with their mystical powers. As a result, Jonah is present among the living while also having a presence on the other side, granting him the ability to temporarily resurrect and communicate with the dead. Eventually hearing of Turnbull’s apparent death in a hotel fire, Jonah establishes himself as a legendary bounty hunter.

Jonah rides into the town of Stunk Crick and presents his latest bounty to the town marshals only to realize they had no intention of paying, but instead to kill Jonah for his own bounty. Jonah kills the marshals and several gunmen and leaves. Meanwhile, a Union train is robbed of a weapon component being transported for safekeeping. Burke blows up the train and Turnbull, alive and well, orders the component be taken to Fort Resurrection. President Grant (Aidan Quinn) is informed of the train massacre by Lieutenant Grass (Will Arnett) and surmises that Turnbull plans to attack the Union on the Fourth of July (the country’s centennial). Grass is told to find Jonah and hire him to stop Turnbull.

Jonah goes to a brothel and spends the night with Lilah (Megan Fox), a prostitute attracted to the disfigured man for more than just professional interest. As Jonah prepares to leave the next morning, Grass’s men burst in and tell Jonah that he is being conscripted into the nation’s service to track down Turnbull. Realizing his family is still unavenged, Jonah accepts. Elsewhere, Turnbull and Burke retrieve the main component of the “nation killing” weapon, an orange chemical orb developed by Eli Whitney in service of the Union.

Grass tells Jonah all that is known of Turnbull’s plans but explains that the trail went dead because their informant died. Resurrecting the informant with his powers, Jonah learns that the man hadn’t been recruited by Turnbull, but by Colonel Slocum (Tom Wopat), another associate of Jonah’s who betrayed his family. Jonah pays Slocum a visit at an illegal death match pavilion run by Doc Cross Williams (Michael Shannon). Slocum is corrupt and sarcastically tells Jonah to ask Turnbull’s dead son, Jeb, where his father is. Jonah throws Slocum into the fighting ring where the gladiator, a bestial, snakelike creature, attacks and kills him.

Jonah rides to Gettysburg where he spends the night digging up Jeb Turnbull (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and revives his corpse. After a brief confrontation, Jonah apologizes for killing Jeb during the Civil War. In return, Jeb tells Jonah about Fort Resurrection and then returns to the afterlife. Jonah then buys some new weaponry from Smith (Lance Reddick), a gunsmith, in preparation for battle. Smith points out that Jonah’s hatred of the Union isn’t born out of Southern loyalty but out of a stubbornness to adhere to the rules of government.

Jonah goes to the fort and encounters Turnbull but doesn’t get a chance to kill him. Jonah gets shot several times after a fight with Burke but is able to escape. As Jonah nears death and imagines what it would be like to fight Turnbull, his dog drags him to his Native American allies who perform a ceremony that heals Jonah. Back on his feet, he relays a message to Washington about Turnbull’s plan to destroy the capital. Afterwards, Turnbull tells Burke to find what Jonah loves and bring it to him as bait for Jonah; Burke kidnaps Lilah from the brothel.

Jonah sneaks through the dock where Turnbull’s Confederate ironclad is being readied for the attack. Burke attacks him and the two discreetly fight until Jonah shoves Burke headfirst into the boat motor, then utterly destroys him by burning him up. Jonah prepares to shoot Turnbull but Turnbull holds Lilah at gunpoint and forces Jonah to surrender. Turnbull chains Jonah and Lilah in the ship's hold and tells Jonah that he wants him to watch as the Union is destroyed. Lilah picks her handcuffs and frees Jonah, who goes after Turnbull. Lt. Grass’s monitor warship engages Turnbull’s but is destroyed with the Nation Killer. Jonah and Turnbull fight and fall into the engine room. Turnbull gains the upper hand and gives the order to destroy the city. As the preliminary weapons are fired, laying the preparation for the explosive trigger, Jonah uses his tomahawk to jam the cannon. He then brutally beats Turnbull and traps his neck in a gear before saving Lilah. The pair jump into the water just as the chemical orb ignites in the engine room, killing Turnbull and all his men.

The next day, Grant rewards Jonah with a job offer as sheriff of the United States. Jonah refuses, but assures the President that if they need him, they’ll be able to find him. Jonah then visits Jeb's grave to apologize to him and rides off from the cemetery with his dog.
