MSOffice 2007 Enterprise

Size: 1.1G

Microsoft Office 2007 (officially called 2007 Microsoft Office System) is a Windows version of the Microsoft Office System, Microsoft's productivity suite. Formerly known as Office 12 in the initial stages of its beta cycle, it was released to volume license customers on November 30, 2006 and made available to retail customers on January 30, 2007. These are, respectively, the same dates Windows Vista  was released to volume licensing and retail customers. Office 2007 contains a number of new features, the most notable of which is the entirely new graphical user interface called the Fluent User Interface (initially referred to as the Ribbon User Interface), replacing the menus and toolbars – which have been the cornerstone of Office since its inception – with a tabbed toolbar, known as the Ribbon. Office 2007 requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or higher, Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 or higher, Windows Vista or Windows 7. Office 2007 is the last version of Microsoft Office available for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

The 'Ribbon User Interface' is a task-oriented Graphical User Interface (GUI). It features a central menu button, widely known as the 'Office Button'. The Ribbon Interface has been improved in Microsoft Office 2010.

Office 2007 also includes new applications and server-side tools. Chief among these is Groove, a collaboration and communication suite for smaller businesses, which was originally developed by Groove Networks before being acquired by Microsoft in 2005. Also included is Office SharePoint Server 2007, a major revision to the server platform for Office applications, which supports "Excel Services", a client-server architecture for supporting Excel workbooks that are shared in real time between multiple machines, and are also viewable and editable through a web page.

Microsoft FrontPage has been removed from the Office suite entirely. It has been replaced by Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer, which is aimed towards development of SharePoint portals. Its designer-oriented counterpart Microsoft Expression Web is targeted for general web development. However, neither application has been included in Office 2007.

Speech recognition and handwriting recognition are now part of Windows Vista. Speech and ink components have been removed from Office 2007. Handwriting and speech recognition work with Office 2007 only on Windows Vista or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. However, XP users can use an earlier version of Office to use speech recognition.
According to Forrester Research, as of May 2010, Microsoft Office 2007 is used in 81% of enterprises.

Camtasia Studio 7

Size: 161.27 MB

Camtasia Studio and Camtasia for Mac are screen video capture software, published by TechSmith. The user defines the area of the screen or the window that is to be captured or the whole screen can be recorded instead. This is set before the recording begins. It is possible to record audio from a microphone or your speakers and Camtasia Studio allows you to place your webcam's video footage on the screen.

Recording

The presenter carries out all steps of the demonstration in sequence and is able to jump from one application to another without interrupting the recording process. The presenter is able to stop recording with a hotkey combination at any time, at which point the software renders the input that has been captured, and applies user-defined settings, such as when and how to display the cursor. Newer versions of Camtasia offer the option to draw a circle around the cursor whenever the mouse is clicked, to better illustrate the actions of the presenter.
Post-production

After the presentation has been captured, the presenter is able to revise it by cutting and/or pasting different parts, as needed. In addition, the presenter is also able to overlay their voice, as well as sound effects or music onto the presentation. Camtasia allows audio recording while screen-capturing is in progress, so the presenter can narrate the demonstration as it is carried out. Most presenters, however, prefer to wait until they have finished the screen-capture, and then record the narration from a script as the application is playing back the recorded capture.
Deployment

The program allows files to be stored in its own proprietary format, which is only readable by Camtasia itself; this format allows for fairly small file sizes, even for longer presentations. Camtasia also allows the generated video stream to be exported to common video formats which can be read by most computers, even if the Camtasia software is not installed, such as MPEG-2 or MPEG-4.

Total Commander v7.5

Size: 4.2 MB

Total Commander is a shareware Orthodox File Manager (OFM) for Windows. Some features include a built-in FTP client, file compare, archive file navigation, and a versatile multi-rename tool with regular expression support.

From 1993 until 2002, Total Commander was called Windows Commander; the name was changed in 2002 out of fear of a lawsuit after the developers received a letter from Microsoft pointing out that the word "windows" was trademarked by Microsoft.

This application is written by Christian Ghisler in Delphi 2 (32-bit version) and Delphi 1 (16-bit version). The program is extensible by programmers via an open plugin-API and it has the ability to bind external programs for viewing or editing files. Many plugins are freely available for e.g. different packer formats or file viewer for special file formats. As well, a large variety of internal functions (commands) are available and ready to assign to icons, although some study might be needed to discover them.

A freeware version of Total Commander also exists for Windows Mobile.

Additionally, Total Commander can be made portable via a special installer for USB and U3 disks.

The non-mobile version is shareware – users can download it for free, but should register or delete it within 30 days. The unregistered version reminds the user to register every time it starts, but it retains full functionality even after the 30-day trial period.

One notable feature of Total Commander is that in addition to allowing access to Windows partitions, there is a plugin that allows users to access both EXT2/EXT3 and Reiser partitions on the same machine. Hence, for dual-boot machines with Windows and Linux, Total Commander allows access to files stored on the Linux partition while running Windows.

The download is about 3MB; available in both 16- and 32-bit versions, for the various versions of Windows, and is, for the most part, compatible with Linux using Wine.

Directed by:  Mike Newell
Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina
Produced by: Walt Disney Pictures
Genre: Action | Adventure | Emotion
Length: 90 Min
Country: US
Year: 2010

Plot

Dastan, an orphan in the Persian Empire, performs an act of courage in a public market place and is adopted by the king because of it. Fifteen years later, Dastan, his royal-blooded foster brothers, Tus (Richard Coyle) and Garsiv (Toby Kebbell), and his uncle, Nizam (Ben Kingsley) are planning an attack on the sacred city of Alamut, which is believed to be selling weapons to Persia's enemies. Despite his doubts as to whether they should attack a sacred city and his orders to avoid the front-line of the fighting, Dastan leads a surprise attack that succeeds in allowing the Persian army to breach the walls of Alamut. In the confusion, the princess of Alamut, Tamina, instructs one of her guards to take a dagger from a shrine to safety. During the fight, however, Dastan defeats Asoka,Tamina's guard, and steals the dagger. Alamut falls to the Persians and Tamina is captured. In order to pacify the captured city, Tus suggests that he and Tamina marry, which she agrees to only upon seeing that the dagger has fallen into Dastan's possession.

When Sharaman (Ronald Pickup), the king of Persia, arrives at Alamut, he reproaches Tus, his eldest son, for having made the decision to attack the city and although proud of Dastan, chides him for not doing the right thing, as he did before. He suggests that Dastan, rather than Tus, should marry Tamina. Prince Dastan unknowingly presents a poisoned robe, given to him by Tus, to his father, who dies upon donning it. Dastan is blamed for the king's murder and flees Alamut with Princess Tamina. In their first camp, Tamina attempts to kill the prince and recover the dagger, during which Dastan finds out that the dagger can reverse time. During their journey, the duo meet a shady ostrich racing-organizer and tax-averse entrepreneur, Sheik Amar (Alfred Molina), with his knife-throwing African friend Seso (Steve Toussaint). Dastan offers Tamina up as a slave in return for supplies; however, Amar betrays him because he recognizes him as the murderer of the king, for whom there is an "obscene" reward being offered. Dastan and Tamina escape and return to Persia for King Sharaman's funeral; here, Dastan attempts to convince his uncle Nizam that he did not kill his father. Dastan discovers that Tamina has taken the Dagger; however, he then notices Nizam's hands are burned. Garsiv and the city guards appear and attack Dastan and he is forced to escape.

Dastan catches up with Tamina and explains that the villainous brother of the King, Nizam, was behind the murder. Once Tamina finally explains everything about the Dagger, Dastan realizes why Nizam wants the Dagger of Time: to use it with the massive Sandglass to go back in time and undo saving Sharaman from a lion so he could become king. He fabricated the false allegations that Alamut had been dealing weapons to Persia's enemies so that he would have the opportunity to search the city for the Sandglass. However, opening the Sandglass will trigger an apocalyptic sandstorm that would end the world. Meanwhile, Nizam tries to convince Garsiv and Tus that Dastan is trying to overthrow them and should be killed immediately; when this fails, he hires the Hassansins, a group of highly skilled warriors who once served as hired killers for Persian royalty, to slay Dastan.

Dastan and Tamina are again captured by Sheik Amar and Seso, seeking to rebuild his ruined business by turning them in for the enormous bounty. But that night, when everyone is asleep, the Hassansin leader (Gísli Örn Garðarsson) attacks the group by controlling a number of vipers. Many of the group die, but Dastan uses the Dagger and manages to kill all the snakes and saves everyone. The next day, the pair accompanied by Sheik and Seso travel to the secret sanctuary in the mountains near India, where it is possible to seal away the Dagger. However, they run into Garsiv's men. Dastan manages to persuade his brother that he is innocent, only for Garsiv to be fatally wounded by a Hassansin. The Hassansins attack, killing most of the group, while Dastan and Tamina sneak away to the secret place where they can hide the Dagger. Tamina says she is ready to give up her life to protect the Dagger, but Dastan stops her and tells her that he is not ready for her to die. They share a silent and romantic moment, but they are found and attacked and the Hassansin leader manages to snatch the Dagger of Time from Tamina. However, Dastan is saved from the last Hassansin by Garsiv, who then dies of his wounds.

The group returns to Alamut to reveal the truth about Nizam and the Dagger to Tus. They learn that the dagger is being guarded by one of the Hassansins. Seso volunteers for the task of defeating the Hassansin and recovering the dagger. He defeats the Hassansin in a duel but is himself mortally wounded. He manages to fling the dagger down to Dastan before he is taken by the soldiers rushing in at the alarm. Dastan confronts Tus and explains the dagger's mechanics to him and then kills himself; Tus brings Dastan back to life by rewinding time and realizes his brother has been innocent all along. Soon after, however, Nizam arrives and kills Tus, leaving his Hassansin guard to kill Dastan. The Dagger is once again in Nizam's hands, but Dastan manages to defeat the Hassansin with Tamina's help. Nizam goes to the Sandglass caves beneath Alamut, as Dastan and Tamina take a more secret route: an underground tunnel. After a short battle with the Hassansins' leader, fatally wounding him and sending him plummeting to his death in a chasm, Dastan and Tamina kiss for the first time. They then reach Nizam before he can pierce the Sandglass with the Dagger, but he knocks Tamina and Dastan over the edge. Dastan grabs hold of Tamina; knowing he cannot stop Nizam and also save her. Tamina tells Dastan to let her go because it is his destiny to save them, but Dastan refuses to let her go. Tamina professes her love for Dastan, wishing they could have been together, and lets go, plummeting to her death and sacrificing herself to stop Nizam. Heartbroken, Dastan watches her fall. Driven to fight on, Dastan manages to pull himself up. Nizam stabs the Sandglass with the Dagger, but Dastan grabs hold and opens the Dagger, rather than activating it, causing the Sands of Time to flow through freely, rather than destroying the world. Time reverses to when Dastan first obtained the Dagger, now fully aware of all that has occurred.

Dastan stops the siege of Alamut, revealing Nizam's treachery; Nizam attacks Dastan, but is killed by Tus. After apologizing for the ransacking of her city, Tus suggests that perhaps Tamina should become Dastan's wife as a sign of good will. The Prince returns the Dagger of Time to her, which changes Tamina's view of Dastan. Later on, the two take a walk together, and Dastan and Tamina have a small conversation, in which Dastan hints at his knowledge of the Dagger's powers and tells Tamina that he looks forward to a future with her.

Written by: Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman

Length: 150 Min
Country: United States
Language: English

Plot

Thousands of years ago, there was a race of ancient Transformers who scoured the universe looking for energon sources. Known as the Dynasty of the Primes, they used machines called Sun Harvesters to drain stars of their energy in order to convert it to energon and power Cybertron's All Spark. The Primes agreed that life-bearing worlds would be spared, but in 17,000 BC, one Prime, thereafter dubbed "The Fallen", constructed a Sun Harvester on Earth. The remaining Primes sacrificed their bodies in order to hide the Matrix of Leadership — the key that activates the Sun Harvester — from The Fallen, who swore to seek revenge upon Earth.

In the present day, two years after the events of the previous film, Optimus Prime is seen leading a special forces unit known as NEST (Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers), a military organization consisting of human troops and his own team of Autobots (including newcomers Arcee, Chromia, Elita One, Sideswipe, Jolt, and the twins (Skids and Mudflap) aimed at killing the remaining Decepticons on Earth. While on a mission in Shanghai, Optimus and his team destroy Decepticons Sideways and Demolishor, being given a warning by the latter that "The Fallen will rise again". Back in the United States, Sam Witwicky finds a splinter of the destroyed All Spark, and upon contact the splinter fills his mind with Cybertronian symbols. Deeming it dangerous, Sam gives the All Spark splinter to his girlfriend Mikaela Banes for safe keeping, and leaves her and Bumblebee behind to go off to college. Upon arrival, Sam meets his college roommate Leo Spitz, who runs an alien conspiracy website, and Alice, a co-ed who makes unusually strong sexual advances on him. Back home, Decepticon Wheelie tries to steal the shard, only to be captured by Mikaela. After having a mental breakdown and uncontrollably writing Cybertronian language in class, Sam calls Mikaela, who immediately leaves to get to him.

Decepticon Soundwave hacks into a US satellite and learns the location of the dead Decepticon leader Megatron and another piece of the All Spark. Two Decepticons attack the base, retrieve the shard, and use it to resurrect Megatron, who flies into space and is reunited with Starscream and his master, The Fallen, in the Nemesis. The Fallen instructs Megatron and Starscream to capture Sam in order to learn the location of the Matrix of Leadership. With Sam's outbreaks worsening, Mikaela arrives at campus just as Alice — revealed to be a Decepticon Pretender — tries to attack him. An irate Mikaela, Sam, and his roommate Leo drive off, crashing into Alice, but are captured by the Decepticon Grindor. The Decepticon known as "The Doctor" prepares to remove Sam's brain, but Optimus and Bumblebee manage to arrive in time and rescue Sam. Optimus attempts to hold off Megatron while Sam escapes with Bumblebee. Grindor and Starscream join the fight, and begin to overpower Optimus. Optimus kills Grindor and rips off Starscream's arm, however during a momentary distraction while searching for Sam, he is blindsided and impaled through the chest from behind by Megatron and dies. Megatron and Starscream retreat as the Autobot team arrives to rescue Sam, but too late to assist Optimus.

After Prime's death, The Fallen is freed from his captivity and Megatron orders a full-scale assault on the planet. The Fallen speaks to the humans on earth, demanding they surrender Sam to the Decepticons or they will destroy the world. Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, the twins and Wheelie regroup, and Leo suggests his online rival "Robo-Warrior" may be of assistance. They then proceed to where Robo-Warrior is, who turns out to be former Sector 7 agent Simmons (John Turturro). Simmons informs the group that the symbols Sam has been seeing should be readable for a Decepticon. Mikaela then releases Wheelie, who can't read the language, but identifying it as language of the Primes, directs the group to a Decepticon seeker (who they later learn switched his allegiance to the Autobots) named Jetfire. They then find Jetfire (disguised as the SR-71 in the center of the museum) at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and reactivate him via the shard of the AllSpark. After teleporting the group to Egypt, Jetfire explains that only a Prime can kill The Fallen, and translates the symbols, which contain a riddle that sets the location of the Matrix of Leadership somewhere in the surrounding desert. By following the clues, the group arrive at the tomb where they ultimately find the Matrix, but it crumbles to dust in Sam's hands. Believing the dust of the Matrix can still revive Optimus, Sam collects the dust and instructs Simmons to call Major William Lennox to bring the other Autobots and Optimus's body.

The military arrives with the Autobots, but so do the Decepticons (many unnamed and of various models which arrive via orbit), and a battle ensues with the Autobots outnumbered and the humans outgunned but managing to inflict casualties. During the battle, Decepticon Devastator is formed and unearths the Sun Harvester from inside one of the pyramids before being destroyed by a US Destroyer's railgun with the help of agent Simmons. Jetfire arrives and destroys Mixmaster, but is mortally wounded by Scorponok. The Air Force carpet bombs the Decepticons, but Megatron avoids the bombings and fires at Sam, killing him. While dead, Sam is contacted by the Dynasty of the Primes who, acknowledging his courage and dedication to Optimus, revive him and reveal to him that the Matrix of Leadership cannot be found, but "earned". Sam awakens to tell Mikaela that he loves her. He then goes on to revive Optimus just before The Fallen ambushes him and his allies, slaughtering a few soldiers, stealing the Matrix and taking off to activate the Harvester. Jetfire sacrifices himself so that Optimus can fuse with Jetfire's parts to fly to the Harvester and ultimately stop The Fallen. He successfully destroys the Harvester with a well-placed shot. Immediately, Optimus engages The Fallen and Megatron in the ruins by fighting non-stop with his new parts from Jetfire, blast Megatron's jaw off, and kills The Fallen by impaling him with his own spear, ripping off his face, and then punching through the Fallen's chest and ripping his spark out. Although the battle was over, Megatron refused to surrender and retreats to the the Nemesis with Starscream. The film ends with Optimus alongside Sam on an aircraft carrier, sending another message into space hoping to find more Autobots, saying that the humans and Transformers both share a common past, and a future they will face together. During the credits, Sam is seen returning to college.

Up (2009) - 720p BluRay

Size: 1.9 G
Directed byPete Docter, Bob Peterson
Starring: Edward Asner, Christopher Plummer, Jordan Nagai, Bob Peterson
Produced by: Jonas Rivera, John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton
Genre: Animation
Length: 96 Min
Country: United States
Year: 2009
Plot

Carl Fredricksen (Edward Asner) is a shy and quiet boy who idolizes renowned explorer Charles F. Muntz (Christopher Plummer). He learns, however, that Muntz has been accused of fabricating the skeleton of a giant bird he had discovered in Paradise Falls, South America. Muntz vows to return there to capture one alive. One day, Carl befriends an energetic tomboy named Ellie (Elizabeth Docter), who is also a Muntz fan. Detailing her ambitions in her personal scrapbook, she tells Carl her desire to move her "clubhouse"—an abandoned house in the neighborhood—to a cliff overlooking Paradise Falls, making him promise to help her. Carl and Ellie eventually get married and grow old together in the restored house, working as a toy balloon vendor and a zookeeper, respectively. Unable to have children, they repeatedly pool their savings for a trip to Paradise Falls, but end up spending it on other obligations. An elderly Carl finally arranges for the trip, but before they can embark, Ellie suddenly becomes ill. Shortly thereafter, Ellie dies, leaving Carl alone.

A short time later, Carl's house becomes surrounded by urban development, but he refuses to sell his property. He then ends up in a tussle with a construction worker over the broken mailbox that he and Ellie made, and is forced by court order to sell the house and to move into a retirement home. However, Carl comes up with a scheme to keep his promise to Ellie: he turns his house into a makeshift airship, using thousands of helium balloons to lift it off its foundations. A young Wilderness Explorer named Russell (Jordan Nagai) becomes an accidental passenger, having pestered Carl earlier in an attempt to earn his final merit badge for "assisting the elderly" and become a Senior Wilderness Explorer. He had been sent by Carl on a futile snipe hunt the day before when he attempted to offer Carl some assistance.

After surviving a thunderstorm, the house lands near a large ravine facing Paradise Falls. Carl and Russell harness themselves to the still-buoyant house and begin to walk it around the ravine (with the aid of the garden hose), hoping to reach the falls before the balloons deflate. After walking awhile, Russel sees a tall, colorful flightless bird (whom he names "Kevin") trying to reach her chicks. They are joined by a dog named Dug (Bob Peterson), who wears a special collar that allows him to speak. Russell wants to bring them both along for the journey, while Carl wants to get rid of them. They are then ambushed by a pack of similar dogs led by Alpha (also Bob Peterson), and taken to Dug's master, who turns out to be an elderly Charles Muntz. Muntz invites Carl and Russell aboard his dirigible, where he explains that he has spent the years since his disgrace searching Paradise Falls for the giant bird. When Russell innocently reveals his friendship with Kevin, Muntz becomes disturbingly hostile, prompting the pair, Kevin, and Dug to flee, chased by Muntz's army of dogs; Kevin is injured during the escape. When Carl and Russell decide to take Kevin home, Muntz uses Dug's tracking collar to catch up with them. Muntz then starts a fire beneath Carl's house, forcing Carl to choose between saving it or Kevin. Carl rushes to put out the fire, allowing Muntz to take the bird. After lashing out at Russell and sending Dug away Carl eventually brings his house to the falls, but Russell is still angry at Carl for abandoning Kevin.

Settling into his home, Carl is sadly poring over Ellie's childhood scrapbook when, to his surprise, he discovers photos of their married life on the formerly blank pages, and a final note from Ellie thanking him for the "adventure", encouraging him to go on a new one. Reinvigorated, he goes to find Russell, only to see him sailing off alone on some balloons to save Kevin. Carl lightens his house by dumping all his possessions, and gives chase, accompanied by Dug. Russell is captured by Muntz, but Carl manages to free both him and Kevin. Muntz pursues them around the airship, finally cornering Dug, Kevin, and Russell inside Carl's house with a hunting rifle. Carl then lures Kevin out through a window with a chocolate bar, with Dug and Russell clinging to her back, just as Muntz is about to break in. Muntz leaps after them, only to snag his foot on some balloon strings, which snap, and cause Muntz to plummet to his death. Freed from its tether, the house descends below the clouds and out of sight.

Carl reunites Kevin with her chicks, then flies the dirigible back to the city. When Russell's father misses his son's Senior Explorer promotion ceremony, Carl takes over and proudly presents Russell with his final badge: the grape soda cap badge that Ellie gave to Carl when they first met. Meanwhile, Carl's house is shown to have landed on the cliff beside Paradise Falls; just as Ellie had desired.
